A roundup of my 5 most read marketing blogs

This blog has been running for a few years now, and I seem to have written quite a lot.

Book reviews and marketing articles mainly with occasional hot topic commentary.

You may have already seen these if you've been here a while. I may have updated and added bits in that time so it may be worth another look.

If you are new here, then I hope this roundup is helpful and saves you a bit of trawling time.

So here are my five most read marketing and business blogs.

1. Epic Marketing Fails & how to avoid them - Nike and Adidas

This blog gets daily traffic because it has an organic key word that people seem to find it with. It's a slightly different style of article than I write now, but I still think it illustrates that even the biggest and best companies get it wrong sometimes.

2. 50 Free Marketing Tips for Small Business Owners

I wrote this blog 3 years ago now, it's been updated a few times since. Last year it gave me the idea for writing my book 100 Marketing Tips for Small Business Owners, which is for sale on Amazon or my own website. Let me know if you try any of the tips!

3. How to read more books

A lot of people would like to fit more reading into their lives. For the last two years I've managed to read 100 books per year, so I wanted to share some of my tips and help others with their reading goals.

4. How to turn your social media followers into customers

Something we all spend time on is building up social media followings. Sometimes we forget that the reason we are growing the following is to aid our business. To have people buy from us. In this article I give my thoughts on how to do that.

5. The Fear: What to do when the work dries up?

It can be very frightening when you work for yourself and the work dries up. It is probably the number one fear we all have as small business and self employed business owners. In this blog I give some practical suggestions to help in the bad times.
